Ceramics &
Sculpture 4
Students in Ceramics 4 further develop their skills and abilities in a selected area of focus. Students choose to focus on hand-building, wheel throwing, printmaking, or sculpture techniques. Students practice combining techniques and emphasis will be placed on creating utilitarian, decorative, and/or expressive forms. Students create both one-of-a-kind and artworks in a series. Students also reflect upon the historical, cultural, contemporary, and aesthetic aspects of their artwork. Career options in 3D art can also be explored.

​The prerequisite for this course is a passing grade of "C" or better in Ceramics 3.
