Students in Advanced Art 1 & 2 further develop their skills and abilities in creating high-quality work in a selected area of focus. Students may choose to focus on hand-building, wheel throwing, printmaking, or sculpture techniques. This course requires a high level of individual motivation, work ethic, and focused engagement for students to be successful. Students focus on generating high-quality meaningful artwork, reflecting on personal & others’ artwork, and participating constructively in critiques. Development and presentation of an end of course portfolio is required to pass this course.
