Wheel throwing is the technique of manipulating clay using a potter's wheel to create round forms. In this project you will be introduced to basic centering, and coning and opening techniques that will be used to begin a wide variety of forms on the potter's wheel. This practice offers the opportunity to build basic throwing skills applicable to a wide variety of more complex projects.
