Slab construction is an exciting way to create a wide variety of forms ranging from very freeform and flowing to rigid geometric and architectural structures. In this project you will learn to prepare and and use thin sheets of clay to create forms. You will explore texturing clay with a variety of tools and continue practicing modeling and finishing techniques as well as identifying the stages of clay as you work. This practice continues to build a strong base of skills to support you as you progress to more complex projects.
