Slip casting is a simple and effective way to replicate a single form for the bulk production of ware. This process frees the artist to focus more time on the decoration of the ware than on making the form. In this project you will learn to create a set of slip-cast forms with attention to MCAT and then decorate them using low-fire glazes and wax resist. This practice continues to build a strong base of skills to support you as you progress to more complex projects.
