Coiling is one of the most versatile clay manipulation techniques and offers the opportunity to build sizable work very quickly. In this project you will learn to prepare and and use coils of clay to create larger works. You will continue practicing joining, modeling and finishing techniques as well as identifying the stages of clay as you work. This practice continues to build a strong base of skills to support you as you progress to more complex projects.
